I may not use LaTeX to make my skills portfolio, since I’m having problems crowbar’ing any decent graphics into it. I can include EPS’s but they look awful. It’ll be a shame to say goodbye to automatically generated contents and lists, but I think there just isn’t the application support for my decrepid OS to make using LaTeX easy – far too much of it wants to be run from a command line.
Aaaaanyway, via Bruce Sterling comes this little gem of photographic delight in the unlikeliest of places. There are also some stunning sunset pictures.
The sixth, and apparently penultimate, episode of The Fez Of Etymology is available now. This one’s really funny.
So far my cold’s kept me from doing too much work this week, apart from repeatedly hitting LaTeX over the nose with a rolled-up newspaper. Tomorrow I’ll get a great big heap of work done, just you see.
