The Day Today

Saturday, 13 December, 2003 — filed under: comics / news / tv

I was largely ignoring Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, thinking that I maybe had enough things to try and watch.

But then I hadn’t realised that Richard Belzer was in it. And not just playing some random detective guy, but as John Munch.

Richard Belzer is an actor/comedian who deserves all the cookies in the world – Detective Munch gets cookies with chocolate chips.

There are plenty of things that I could write about from today, trains and buses and libraries and the many horrors of a Saturday afternoon in the shopping district of a large city. But I won’t because I am once again tired and befuddled.

Although I did get Planetary #17 from Forbidden Planet in Leeds [Wakefield has no comic shop so, if anything, the rather erratic nature of Planetary's publishing schedule works in my favour]. Things in the odd world of The Planetary Foundation are slowly coming slightly more together, and it’s still a wonderful delight to read.

Going home tomorrow to a world of have-to-pay-for-slow-dialup. So maybe not much weblogising. Lots more people went home today.
