The Penny Dreadfuls once again colonised the Edinburgh Fringe with Aeneas Faversham Returns, a brand-new hour of orphans, freaks and steam-powered villainy.
Faversham burst onto the comedy scene in 2006, and we've been touring venues and festivals to spread the Favdemic ever since. 2007 was an even better year at the Fringe, with a bigger venue and even lovelier sell-out audiences.
With a less awkward venue and a larger budget, I could concentrate less on simply lighting the space and more on supporting the mood and flavour of each sketch. Uplight once again proved invaluable, this time with the addition of Victorianesque footlights.
