notlikecalvin is the online portfolio of Neil E. Hobbs, a lighting designer for performance and graduate of the performance design course at Bretton Hall, University of Leeds. Hello!

I create lighting and technical design for theatre and comedy shows, along with providing relights and technical support for touring productions; I'm the consulting Technical Director to both The Penny Dreadfuls and Kandinsky.

I'm currently working as the Technical Manager for the Bush Theatre in Shepherd's Bush, so my time for external projects is quite limited. Watch this space, etc.
